Nautilus Castel Refined

Initial castle model. Incorporate critiques from the Speed Dating session: Initial concept was roughly sketched in Rhino. Some peers found the concept difficult to interpret. Suggestions included: scale, use of multiples. Process Documentation & Reflection On your process blog or course site, post: Issues - translating  image's from web to surface textures.  Sea Weed would not cover rendered ends  Sand Dollar - texture translated into quadrants Castle and wall - castle worked well, but wall showed  seems where sweep began and ended.  Shell floor - neither of these came out well. It may have to do with the image resolution. Rendering bogs down my comp and is frustrating! 

Nautilus Shell Castle (Concept)

Using the Nautilus proportions (golden ratio) I would like to construct a castle which has shell-like towers, castle, and organic grounds.    

Voxel Model

  Assignment Requirements: 1.)  Create a 1x1 voxel in Rhino, and with grid snap enabled, use the alt+drag the gumball handles of your voxel to quickly clone copies of it      Tools/commands: Voxel are created using the box command - grid snap for controlled measurement. Gumball - use gumball arrow and option function key to create quick copies. Apply material's by layer - materials are found under the "toothpaste" menu.  Additional commands, offset and array, move, copy.  2 .)    Create at least two materials to apply to your model in "render" view mode .     Materials used glass and plastic in black and yellow  3 .)     U se basic commands in   Rhino  to  create a  "representation" of your summer (or some aspect of it)     This summer was full of good times.
