Cast Thinking Study - Gold Buffer Torc Necklace

This image shows a  hollow gold torc of "fused-buffer" type, with decorated terminals that are fused together unearthed in Ardnaglug Bog, Knock, Taghmaconnell, Athlone, Roscommon Ireland. This piece is dated 400-200 BCE and is comparable examples have been found on the Continent. The terminals and flanking cone-shaped mouldings bear repoussé decoration in the form of a continuous series of S-shapes and spirals, all of which terminate in round bosses. The background is dotted to accentuate the raised design. For the sake of this project I have excluded the decoration until I understand more about the abilities of the CNC tool.  This image shows a chamfer on the terminals.  4 point perspective of the work before slicing.
